Just to say Broomfield hospital as always been there for me
The hospital was amazing and the staff were amazing during my stay, the only problem stems from my pre operation assessment which was done a week before my operation, I was told everything was ok, I came in for my surgery on the 23rd August 2018 at 7.30 am was changed in to a gown, and was all prepped for surgery, my time had come and gone and it wasn’t until 18.00that night that the surgery was cancelled by my eniasatist and surgeon as they had picked up that my potassium levels were only at 2.5 and should have been picked up in my pre assessment, if I had not had a 2nd blood test done on the surgery day I could have died on the operating table, I was booked in to the hospital that night for a week to have my potassium levels raised to get me in a fitter position for the surgery, on the ward the staff were amazing, all caring and I couldn’t fault them at all.
I was treated with dignity and respect and they deserve a great deal more respect and paid more for the jobs that they do.
The care was constant and very considerate

I was diagnosed with breast cancer a few weeks ago.I was referred to broomfield hosp. where I had the lump removed the surgeon being Sasha Dua. I cannot praise her enough for her care and surgery. The whole breast cancer staff were excellent.
Stay in hospital noisy and chaotic, especially at night.
A excellent service throughout.
Great treatment
I have always found Broomfiled hospital staff as very caring and professional in dealing with us patients
Broomfield has a very friendly warm atmosphere and it has a very inviting main entrance and an exciting construction. It’s restful to wait in natural light in the larger cathedral style hall over a cup of coffee and tea.
Our experiences with treatment have been always positive the hospital seems well managed.
Let’s hope S T Ps doesn’t change it too much.
